Terms of Service

The straightforward agreement for using ChatMail.

Last updated June 16, 2026

By using ChatMail, you agree to these terms. We've kept them short and readable.

1. The service

ChatMail is a web app that displays and manages your existing Gmail through a messaging-style interface. You need a Google account and you must grant ChatMail access to use it. ChatMail is a third-party app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Google.

2. Your account

You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your Google credentials secure. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use ChatMail.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use ChatMail to send spam or unlawful content, to break any law, to interfere with or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service, or to use it for anyone else's account without permission.

4. Plans and payment

ChatMail offers a free plan and a paid Pro plan. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis at the price shown at checkout. You can cancel anytime; your plan stays active through the end of the current billing period, and we don't provide pro-rated refunds for partial periods unless required by law. We may change prices with notice; changes won't affect the period you've already paid for.

5. Your content

Your email belongs to you. ChatMail claims no ownership of your messages and only accesses them to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Availability

We work to keep ChatMail running smoothly, but we provide the service “as is” and can't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

7. Termination

You can stop using ChatMail anytime by revoking access in your Google account. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken. You can also delete your data simply by revoking access, which cuts off ChatMail entirely.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, ChatMail is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior twelve months.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; we'll revise the date above and give notice of material changes in the app. Continuing to use ChatMail after a change means you accept it.
